The K.I.D.S. group is for students in grades Kindergarten through fourth grade whose parents are divorced or in the process of getting divorced. Parents must give written permission for their children to participate. This group will provide children of divorce with support from other children who are experiencing similar situations. The main objective of K.I.D.S. is to reduce the stress of parental divorce. During the divorce group sessions, we will discuss feelings, work on problem solving skills, and learn coping skills that can help.
