This year art club is going be for grades 1st-4th. Each grade will get their own rotation through out the year. The sessions of art club are as follo

• Third & Fourth Grade Art Club have ended

• Second Grade: January 12, January 26, February 9, February 23, March 1, March 15th ( extra meeting because we missed January 12)

There will be 20 spots open for each grade level. Sign up sheets will be placed out side the classroom teacher's door before each session starts. Students will be notified when sign up sheets are put out. Permission slips will be sent home to the students on the sign up sheet. Permission slips must be turned in for the student to attend art club. A reminder flyer will be sent out before each meeting. ***

Artsonia is an amazing online art gallery for students. I take pictures of students' work and then upload them to the website, creating an art portfolio for each student. Parents, family, and friends can go online to the website view the work, make comments, and even purchase items with the artwork printed on them. Students can also take a minute to reflect on their work and enter an artist statement about their work.  Each week I try to upload new artwork. Only the first name of the student is displayed, and I have to have a signed permission slip to photograph students' artwork. I will send home permission slips towards the beginning of the year, if you do not receive one or lost your slip either have your child ask for a new one or email me and I will send one home. This really is a great opportunity and great way to share your child's work with others. 

If you signed a permission slip last year you don't need to sign another one.
