I have been teaching for 20 years; this is my 9th year at Rolla Middle School. My absolute favorite things are my family, reading, computers, and playing tennis.

I went to see Grease at the Fox Theatre with a group of co-workers. We had so much fun, and I was able to get my picture made with Taylor Hicks, the Season 5 winner of American Idol. I was a HUGE Taylor Hicks fan, so it was so much fun to get to see him perform in Grease and to 'meet' him. |

Our dog, Annie, is a Labrador retriever. Her name is actually Little Ann after one of the dogs in the novel Where the Red Fern Grows. Annie turned 11 on January 23, 2010. We have another lab, Ellie, who turned two on January 5. Ellie is a yellow lab; her full name is Ellie Stone, but we usually call her Ellie Belle.
