Student Forum
Student Forum is the representative group of students from the student body. Each homeroom/SAS class has one elected representative. The Student Forum meets to develop school programs, student relations and school improvement.
The officers for the 2011-2012 school year are:

Secretary - Mackenzie Clayton
Historian - Jesse Liu
2011-2012 Meeting Dates:
September 21, October 12, November 9, December 14, note...NO January meeting, February 8, March 14, April 11, and May 9.
All of the meetings are held on Wednesday, until 4:00.

Purpose of the RMS Student Forum
PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION
1. To promote high standards of conduct in leadership, honesty, loyalty and courtesy.
2. To promote cooperation, and to develop better school spirit.
3. To promote better communication for discharging activities and responsibilities.
4. To serve as a connection between the faculty, administration, and the student body.
5. To advise ways and means by which RMS may be made a better school.
Criteria for Outstanding Student Forum Member
Outstanding Student Forum Member Awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony at the end of the year and will be based on the following criteria:
1. Active Service on committees and projects
2. Attendance at Student Forum Meetings and extra committee meetings
3. Attitude while serving on committees
4. Overall level of responsibility demonstrated; for example, notifying alternate of absence so they can fill in, high rating from homeroom teacher about monthly report from Forum meetings, etc.
2011-2012 Student Forum T-shirts and MORE!!!!
Once again, t-shirts can be purchased the day of each grade level registration. Along with t-shirts, we will be offering sweatshirts, sweat pants, and hoodies!!!! Please stop by the Student Forum table the night of your registration August 2011!!!!
The sweatshirts, sweat pants, and hoodies will be ordered on a pre-paid order basis!
Special Events Calendar
Letter to Troops...raised around $100.00 to purchase candy, books, crosswords, Sudokus, and pens to send to our troops!
We did a Spirit Week fund-raiser for Cystic Fibrosis. We collected $370.00!!! It was amazing!
We also did a school clean-up.
