On A Side Note
As the football seaon comes to an end the computer lab will be open on an as needed basis for students to "catch up" on missing work or extra tutoring. Current students should come speak with me if the need the extra time in the computer lab.
I normally arrive at school between 7:00am-7:15am so students are also welcome to come use the lab in the mornings before school.

Classes with Coach Chance
Computers 8 - This is a required course for all 8th grade students. Students continue to develop their keyboarding skills and continue expanding their knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. We introduce the basic Office terminology and operation as well as expand on ther knowledge of Microsoft Word to help prepare them for their continued education. We also discuss and cover topics of Internet Safety and risks involved with use of the Internet and the World Wide Web.
Computer Applications - This class is offered to 9th graders who would like to know the ins and outs of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. You will leave this class with a good handle on how to use all these applications. We will also dabble with designing web pages using HTML as well as putting all these applications into work in a real-life simulation.
Business & Money - Business & Money is an introduction to the world of business offered to 8th grade students. In this course we will introduce a few of the many aspects of business including economics, finance, personal finance, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship among others. Students will get a grasp on these concepts through textbook material, class discussions, and online activities and research.
