Welcome to Winning the West
This course covers the Western United States from roughly 1760-1980. Topics to be studied include: Native Americans (particularly the Plains Indians), Mountain Men, Prospectors, Settlers/Pioneers/Cowboys, and Conflict and Resolution.
Class lessons include lecture, video, primary source documents, and whole-class discussion. Semester grades will be determined from the total points accumulated.
