Welcome to Russian History
This course covers the history of Russia/Soviet Union from roughly 1450-present. Topics to be studied include: geography, the Romanov dynasty, the Bolshevik Revolution, the Communist regime and totalitarian systems, the Cold War, the fall of the Soviet Union, and current events.
Class lessons include lecture, video, primary source documents, and whole-class discussions. Quarter and semester grades are determined by the total points at the end of each grading period.
