1. Be prepared for class each day.  Bring a pencil, pen, paper, book and any other necessary supplies to class each day. 
2. Homework is due at the beginning of class on the day that it is due.  Homework that is not ready is considered late and will be worth 50% of the assigned value.  This rule shall apply to all assignments and projects as well as homework.
3. Work that is turned in to be graded must be in blue or black ink or pencil.
4. Make-up work is due within two days of the absence.  You are responsible for obtaining assignments and arranging for make-up times for tests and quizzes.  Tests and quizzes must be made up within one week of the absence.  Exceptions will be made for long-term absences.  Check the make-up file on the teacher's desk for assignments but make sure that you ask for any assignment that was assigned on the days that you were absent.
5. Be on time to class.
6. Proper classroom behavior is expected at all times from my students.  Please respect the rights, feelings and possessions of your classmates and your teacher.
7. I can be available for extra help before and after school.  Please let me know if you need help and a time will be arranged.

Grades are figured on a percentage basis of total class points.

A  90-100%
B  80-89%
C 70-79%
D 60-69%

The approximate distribution of points is as follows:

20% - Homework and class activities
20% - Class participation
60% - Tests and Quizzes
