2008 RHS Jewelry Auction and Art Show at the Center
April 4th, 2008 was another huge success as RHS student designers auctioned their jewelry designs for United Way. Designs were made a reality by Kent Bagnall of Kent Jewelry. New this year, Senior RHS Art Students displayed their work and even sold pieces! Other RHS artwork was on display.
October 17, 2007-- Fall Jewelry Auction for United Way
RHS students have once again teamed up with Kent Jewelry to create original jewelry designs for auction, with proceeds to benefit United Way. The Silent Auction, which was held at Matt's Steakhouse on October 17, 2007, raised $2,306--more than twice what we raised last spring!
Heart Motif Designs
In 2006-2007, art students were given the opportunity to work with local jeweler, Kent Bagnall of Kent Jewelry, to create an original jewelry design with a heart motif. From the over 40 designs submitted, 12 were selected to be manufactured. These twelve pieces were then sold to the highest bidder during a silent auction and reception. The proceeds from this auction--over $1,000-- were then donated to our local United Way.
