INFORMATION FOR ADVERTISERS

If you are interested in advertising in Rolla High School's ECHO newspaper, you should contact Mary Gillis or Rachel Marler at 573-458-0101 ext. 14302 or via e-mail at mgillis(at)rolla.k12.mo.us.  You will find sizes and rate information in our  contract.  Because we have kept the cost of publication low, we have been able to keep advertising rates the same for the past four years!

ECHO is a student-led and teacher-advised High School newspaper.  We distribute monthly on the last school Friday of each month beginning in August and ending in May.  Students wholly write, edit, photograph, fund (through advertising money), and design the 28-page paper.

Our paper is distributed free to the entire high school population, which includes students in grades 10-12 and faculty and staff.  In addition, papers are delivered for students who attend RTI and to various businesses and offices within our community.  Our paper is also available online in .pdf format at http://www.rolla.k12.mo.us/schools/rolla_high_school/echo_newspaper/.

Businesses who sign a full year contract with ECHO receive a 25% discount off of the year-long price and a free ad in the journalism-produced ECHO EXTRA in May.  ECHO EXTRA is a senior-dedicated 28-page paper.

In addition, businesses who pay the entire balance of their account up front will receive another 10% discount.

Advertisers receive free copies of ECHO which are hand-delivered on the first Monday of each month.
