FCCLA provides opportunity for leadership development through group and individual activities. It is one of nine national vocational student organizations. The only prerequisite to join FCCLAA is that one must be presently enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science class or have previously had a FACS class. FCCLA is very active in service activities for the community and RHS. Activities include: Head Start and GRACE Adopt -A-Family. FCCLA members attend a regional meeting each fall. The FCCLA State meeting is held each spring in Columbia, MO. Both state and national dues are required.
