The RHS Chapter #2589 of the National Art Honor Society was granted January 23, 2006 by the National Council and the National Art Education Association.

Students are selected for this honor on the basis of art scholarship, service and character.

To be eligible for NAHS, students must be in 10-12th grade, maintain a B average in art, have taken art for at least one semester, be an active member of the RHS Art Club, and have turned in their art club log sheet of fundraising, community service and art studio hours to Mrs. Shoemaker or Mrs. Engelbrecht.
