         "Steamboatin' Singers", Mark Twain's fourth grade choir, will begin rehearsals for the second semester on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.  All rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:00 in the music room.  All Mark Twain fourth graders who like to sing and perform are welcome to join us each Tuesday. 
         We had a wonderful time in the fall preparing for our Christmas concerts.  Thanks to all the parents who allowed their fourth grader to be a member of the choir and provided a way home at the end of rehearsals.     
         Music for our spring concerts will consist of patriotic songs, "High School Musical" songs, and humorous songs.  I've even written a song about us!  I'm looking forward to preparing for our performances in the spring.  I hope to see a good number of fourth graders participate in the spring "Steamboatin' Singers"!
